Free standard delivery on eligible metro orders over $99
BAGS TO GO offers free standard delivery on eligible Australian metro/local orders over $99, especially for smaller parcels and orders that can be dispatched from the closest suitable BAGS TO GO warehouse.
For freight purposes, metro generally means capital city and major metropolitan delivery zones as classified by our freight partners. This includes most capital-city metro areas such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra plus selected surrounding metro areas. TAS and NT are classified as regional/remote and will incur shipping charges.
Please note that freight companies do not always define metro, regional and remote areas the same way.
Free delivery is designed for eligible metro deliveries and smaller parcels. Bulky items, including 55cm cabin suitcases, medium suitcases, large suitcases, duffle bags and luggage sets, may attract an additional freight contribution depending on your postcode, the size of the carton, the number of cartons and where stock is available.
Any shipping charge will be shown at checkout where possible. If something does not look right, email help@bagstogo.com.au and we can check it for you.
Tracking your delivery
Once your order is dispatched, we will send tracking details where available. If your parcel is sent with Australia Post or StarTrack, we highly recommend downloading the official AusPost app so you can track your parcel, receive trusted delivery notifications and manage delivery options where available. Download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play. If your order is sent with another delivery partner, please use the tracking link provided in your dispatch email.
Regional, remote and external territory deliveries
We subsidise freight where we can, but bulky cartons can be very expensive to send to regional, remote and island locations. If your delivery address is outside a metro/local delivery area, the checkout may calculate a freight contribution based on your postcode and the items in your cart. Some remote, island or external territory locations may not be available for bulky items.
If extra freight is required
In rare cases, the checkout may not be able to calculate an appropriate freight rate for a bulky item or remote location. If this happens, we will contact you before dispatch with your options. These may include paying an additional subsidised freight contribution, changing to a street address or different delivery address, choosing an alternative item, arranging collection where available, or cancelling the order for a full refund.

*These estimates are based on shipping from our main warehouse in Canberra, however we also have warehouses located in Brisbane and Perth that hold stock of most of our online ranges. As such, in most instances we are able to ship to QLD and WA locations with much shorter shipping timeframes than estimated above. If you require an item quicker than the estimates above, please contact us ASAP and we can check if we can dispatch from your local warehouse.
All estimates above are business days from date of dispatch and are approximate only. We endeavour to dispatch all credit-approved orders within 2 business days, and are generally able to ship orders same-day or within 24 hours. Whilst every effort is made to ship and deliver orders as per the above guidelines, various factors can affect these time frames and some issues are outside of our control.
Whilst it is rare, delays during transit may occur from time to time and are unfortunately out of the control of the Bags to Go Team. If you have any concerns about whether an order will be shipped in time, or experience any issues with the delivery, please send us a message and we will work to resolve any issues as fast as possible, if they arise.
Express Shipping
We service most metropolitan areas with Express Post, with rates automatically calculated at the checkout for eligible areas. Express shipping can be dependent on local warehouse stock availability and we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your order in the rare event that any issues arise. We will prioritise your order for dispatch and ensure it gets sent using the quickest dispatch location possible.
In addition to Express Post, we also have other express freight partners including same-day shipping in Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and Cairns (item dependent). If your order is required very urgently, please contact our online store during business hours (Monday - Friday) prior to placing your order to discuss your options.
Insurance
If you have purchased our Insurance option we will cover your parcel from loss or damage during transit until it is delivered. This cover does not extend to theft or damage once a parcel has been delivered.
We will also take the hassle out of dealing with courier companies as part of your insurance cover whilst we resolve any issues covered under our Insurance.
International Shipping
We are now offering shipping into New Zealand on smaller items via Australia Post International Express.
Cost
Orders to NZ incur a flat rate fee of $18NZD per order.
All prices shown for NZ customers are in NZD and is the price exclusive on any GST or sales tax – we do not charge GST or tax on any orders with a NZ shipping address. You should check with the relevant authority in your country if any import fees or taxes will apply, but they generally don’t worry about small value items.
Shipping Time
Please allow 9-14 business days for delivery of your item. This may vary during busy shopping times (Christmas/Black Friday)
Returns
If you wish to return an item for change of mind please be aware that all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Goods will only be refunded once items are received back by us – please keep tracking information for any items sent.
