Shipping & Delivery
How much is standard shipping?
We offer FREE* delivery on all orders over $80. A flat shipping rate of $10 applies to all orders under $80.
*This free delivery offer excludes orders to locations that are considered remote or regional as classified by our delivery providers. To these locations, an additional shipping fee of $35/carton applies.
Any applicable shipping costs should automatically be applied to your order during the checkout process.
Do you offer express shipping?

With the 2019 Holiday Season approaching, it is a very busy time on the retail calendar. If you wish for your parcels to arrive in time for Christmas, please see our shipping deadlines below. Orders need to be placed prior to 10am on the deadline date to arrive before Christmas. If you believe you may have missed the deadline, or have any other concerns regarding your parcel arriving on time, please contact us as soon as possible.

These are the dates that we will guarantee delivery before Christmas. Orders placed after this time may arrive in time but due to increased demands on couriers over the holiday period, we cannot guarantee that they will.
All orders received after 10am on Tuesday 24th December 2019 will incur shipping delays due to courier service shutdown. While your orders will be picked and processed as normal, shipments will leave our warehouse on or after Friday 27th December 2019. Any orders placed or shipped between Christmas and New Years may be delayed due to reduced courier services. We will endeavour to dispatch all orders received in this time ASAP. For smaller items, we will still ship with Australia Post. Normal shipping will resume from Tuesday 3rd January 2020. We thank you for your patience during this time.

All estimates above are business days from date of dispatch and are approximates only. We endeavour to dispatch all credit-approved orders within 2 business days, and are generally able to ship orders placed before 10:00 AM AEST on the same day. Whilst every effort is made to ship and deliver orders as per the above guidelines, various factors can affect these timeframes and some issues are outside of our control.
Whilst it is rare, delays during transit may occur from time to time and are unfortunately out of the control of the Bags To Go Team. If you have any concerns about whether an order will be shipped in time, or experience any issues with the delivery, please call us on 1300 224 786 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work to resolve any issues as fast as possible, if they arise.
Delivery to Remote/Regional Locations (Postcode Specific)
With our low prices, there are some postcodes that it is not possible to provide free shipping to, so we will need to add an additional shipping charge. This can be applicable to non-metro, remote/outback areas, all of NT, non-Perth areas of WA, and some parts of TAS and SA, but it depends on your postcode. Please contact us if you would like to discuss shipping to these areas. Alternatively, we will contact you to discuss this before shipping your order. Additional postage fees may apply.
There are some locations that we are unable to ship bulky items to. If your delivery address is within one of these locations, we will contact you to discuss your order. These areas include non-mainland addresses and remote/outback locations where couriers do not offer a service or it is not commercially viable to ship the order.
There are also some locations that we cannot ship to at all. This includes some non-mainland addresses, and some remote areas. If your delivery address is in one of these areas, we will contact you to discuss your order before proceeding.
Standard Delivery is via Fastway delivery service. This requires a signature on collection, so please make sure someone is able to accept the goods at the shipping location. You may elect to give an authority for the goods to be left without a signature, but this is done at your own risk. Bags To Go cannot accept any responsibility for any items damaged or stolen once left by the courier driver.
We can now also ship small items such as wallets/handbags/small backpacks with Australia Post to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers. All other items will be sent with our courier (Fastway, TNT etc.) and we will require a physical address for delivery.
If there is no one present to sign for your parcel, and you have not given Authority To Leave, then a calling card will be left with instructions on how you can arrange a re-delivery. This must be arranged within 24 hours of the initial delivery attempt. If this is not done then your parcel will be returned to our warehouse. Additional delivery fees will be charged if we are required to re-send the parcel.
Bags To Go takes no responsibility where an item has been returned to the depot due to access restrictions or no one home.
Non-delivery or non-acceptance of deliveries:
- If your parcel is returned to us due to non-collection or the delivery company not being able to contact you, we reserve the right to withhold a restocking & handling fee of 25% of the order total should a refund be requested.
- If your parcel is returned to us due to non-collection or the delivery company not being able to contact you, we can re-ship your parcel at your request, but all postage costs for a reship may be charged to you. We will always notify customers if any extra charges might be incurred before taking any action.
- Should you refuse delivery of your parcel within our stated delivery time-frame, we reserve the right to charge a 25% re-stocking & handling fee if a refund is requested.
Authority To Leave
If you select the 'authority to leave' option when checking out, and if you do not leave a customer note on where to leave your parcel, the courier will leave your order at your front door. Please note that Bags To Go and the courier company cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged deliveries after they have been dropped off.
