CHRISTMAS SHIPPING 

All orders received after 2pm on 22nd December 2017 will incur shipping delays due to courier service shutdown. While your orders will be picked and processed as normal, shipments will leave our warehouse between 27th - 29th December 2017. Any orders shipped between Christmas and New Years may be delayed.  For smaller items we will still send through Australia Post. Normal shipping will resume from January 4th 2018. We thank you for your patience during this time. 

 

CHRISTMAS SHIPPING DEADLINES

Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra (East Coast Metro Areas) – Orders need to be received by midnight Monday 11th December.

All other areas, the cut off for guaranteed Christmas delivery will be Sunday 3rd December.

These are the dates that we will guarantee delivery before Christmas. Orders placed after this time may arrive in time but due to increased demands on the couriers we like to be on the safe side.

There may be shipping delays on orders placed between Christmas Day and New Years’ Day due to reduced courier services. We will endeavour to dispatch all orders received in this time ASAP.

 

How much is shipping:

We offer FREE* delivery on all orders over $80. This Excludes orders that contain Pelican or Secura cases. A flat rate of $10 applies to all shipping for orders under $80. 

*GREY SHIPPING ZONE: Additional shipping fee of $35/carton applies to all orders delivered to Northern Territory and Western Australia (Perth metro is free). Remote and Outback locations will incur a $35/carton shipping fee.

There are some locations that we are unable to ship bulky items to. If your delivery address is within one of these locations we will contact you to discuss your order. These areas include non-mainland addresses and remote/outback locations where couriers do not offer a service or it is not commercially viable to ship the order.

We can now ship small items with Australia post such as wallets/handbags/small backpack. All other items will be sent with our courier ( Fastway or Couriers Please)  and we will require a physical address for delivery.

Standard Delivery is via Fastway delivery service. This requires a signature on collection, so please make sure someone is able to accept the goods at the shipping location. You may elect to give an authority for the goods to be left without a signature, but this is done at your own risk. Bags To Go cannot accept any responsibility for any items damaged or stolen once left by the courier driver.

If there is no one present to sign for your parcel and you have not given an Authority To Leave then a calling card will be left with instructions for you to arrange a re-delivery. This must be arranged within 24 hours of the initial delivery attempt. If this is not done then your parcel will be returned to our warehouse. Additional delivery fees will be charged if we are required to re-send the parcel.

 

Bags To Go takes no responsibility where an item has been returned to the depot due to access restrictions or no one home.

 

Remote/ Regional Locations (postcode specific)

*With our low prices, there are some postcodes that it is not possible to provide free shipping, so we will need to add an additional shipping charge. This is can be applied to non metro and remote areas, all of N.T. and non-Perth areas of W.A. but it depends on your postcode. Please contact us if you would like to discuss shipping to these areas. Alternatively we will contact you to discuss this before shipping your order. Additional postage fees may apply. There are also some locations that we cannot ship to at all. This includes non mainland addresses and some remote areas. If your delivery addresses is in one of these areas we will contact you to discuss your order before proceeding.

NSW - Sydney 1-3 business days delivery to metro Sydney & up to 7+ days for NSW regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

VIC - Melbourne 1-3 business days delivery to metro Melbourne  & up to 7+ days for VIC regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

QLD - Brisbane 2-5 business days delivery to metro Brisbane  & up to 7+ days for QLD regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

SA - Adelaide 2-5 business days Adelaide & up to 7+ days for SA regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

WA - Perth 7-14 business days metro Perth  & up to 14+ days for WA regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

TAS - Hobart  4-8 business days Hobart  & Up to 7+ days for TAS regional areas - approx. Business days from time of dispatch

 

All times above are business days from dispatch and are approximate only. Times may vary depending on issues outside of our control. 

Please leave enough time for your order to be delivered if you are ordering luggage for an upcoming trip. We recommend you allow the maximum time stated above to avoid any disapointment.

Delays in postage services may occur from time to time but these are out of the control of the BAGS TO GO team. We will work to resolve any issues as fast as possible when they arise.

Non delivery or Non acceptance of deliveries:

  1. If your parcel is returned to us due to non collection or the delivery company not being able to contact you, we reserve the right to withold a restocking & handling fee of 25% of the order total should a refund be requested.
  2. If your parcel is returned to us due to non collection or the delivery company not being able to contact you, we can re-ship your parcel at your request, but all postage costs for a reship may be charged to you. We will always notify customers if any extra charges might be incurred before taking any action.
  3. Should you refuse delivery of your parcel within our stated delivery timeframe, we reserve the right to charge a 25% re-stocking & hadnling fee if a refund is requested.

 

Insurance

You have the option to add insurance cover to your purchase. This means the team at Bags To Go will deal with any issues that arise once your bag has left our depot. This also means that Bags To Go will cover any loss or damages that occurs after your order has left our depot. This does not include any items left without a signature. Items left are done so at your risk. Bags To Go accepts no responsibility for any damage or theft once an item has been delivered.

 

Authority To Leave

If you select the 'authority to leave' option when checking out, if you do not leave a customer note on where to leave your parcel, the courier will leave your order at your front door. Please note: Bags To Go and the courier company cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged deliveries after they have been dropped off.
